People who have near death experiences all talk about a peaceful, euphoric , bright light enveloping them. From the moment we are conceived, we are moving towards that light. This is my heels diggin' in, I don't wanna' go, reluctant journey, into the light. Stephen

Vegetables are Magic..........Finally...Proof!

For YEARS, I've been telllin' people about this stuff.  Did they believe me?  NOOOoooo!.  They would say, "you've been listening  to too much Art Bell."   or,,,,,  "you're scaring me."   And now, finally, the sweetest of  redemptions.  Just  like I've been sayin' all along.
Vegetables CAN  fly!   SEE!   And NO! I did not eat mushrooms in college.  Only a couple Michelob Lights.  I swear.

SCOTTtheBADGER Sends:I listen to George Nory all the time, you can't really claim to be a cop if you haven't listened to Coast to Coast on night patrol.

Or a truck driver, on a late night slog getting home from a trip.

SCOTTtheBADGER Sends: Something most people don't know is that there is a glitch in the programming in the Ford stereo installed in Crown Vics, that allows the radio to sometimes change volume and balance settings on it's own. It can be most disconcerting for that to happen while listening to Coast to Coast.

I'm an old Coast-to-Coast hand from the Art Bell days. Have talked extensively with him and George on several occasions over the years--especially about the UFO incident at RAF Woodbridge shortly after my tour there ended. Best way to get REALLY weirded out is to listen in a semi-somnolent state drifting in and out. "Did I hear that crazy stuff or did I dream it? Same with music, btw. One night my Sr. year in Baton Rouge in '66 I drifted off listening to KAAY AM out of Little Rock. They played the brand-new "They're coming to take me away today ho ho ha ha" novelty song by Napoleon XIV. I awoke wondering if *I* was really crazy and dreamed that stuff or I heard it on the radio. WILD!!

Me too Virg. I got off the road about the same time George took over for Art and I started keeping real time hours and quit listening. My all time favorite guest was Father Malachi Martin. He could keep you awake. There was also this witch that Art had on regularly, can't remember her name offhand. But, on a dark empty road late at night, she could give you a chill or two. Those were the days, "from the KDWN STUDIOS,high atop the Plaza Hotel, it's Coast to Coast with Art Bell." When Art started broadcasting from his doublewide trailer in Pahrump, I missed that original opening.

It is a strange place, but highly entertaining.
